What is the process when booking with Red Seal Dining?
Here at Red Seal Dining, we try to make everything as easy and effortless as possible. If you are looking to book with us, the first step is to contact Rob, the Owner and CEO of Red Seal Dining to schedule a time to chat about your upcoming event. Following an initial discussion, typically a tasting hosted in our prep kitchen is scheduled so you have a chance to taste some of Red Seal Dining's favourites. After the tasting, a follow-up consultation is scheduled to prepare your menu and contract. Once the contract is signed and the 25% deposit is paid, you can sit back, relax, and check another thing off your to-do list! If you event requires any bartending or rental considerations, you will be put in contact with Red Seal Dining's Event Manger, Arden. Red Seal Dining requires final guest count numbers 30 days prior to your event, and the remaining balance to be paid five days before your event. Then it is time to enjoy an unforgettable day with unforgettable food and service!
Do you have a minimum number of guests?
We are able to cater to as small as a party of two! Chef fees may apply, please contact us for specific details and pricing.
What days are you available for events?
Red Seal Dining is available every day of the week! Specific dates are subject to availability.
Are you able to accommodate dietary restrictions?
Our chefs and servers take allergies and dietary restrictions extremely seriously. Red Seal Dining can modify any menu choices to ensure that your guests feel confident their restrictions are throughly considered and accommodated (while also being able to indulge in amazing food!). Additionally, Red Seal Dining strives to make dishes that are delicious while also be inclusive to major food allergens. Many of our dishes are nut-, gluten-, and lactose-free by default so even if your guests do not make their allergies known, they are still able to enjoy our food safely.
Do you work outside of Calgary?
We do! Travel fees may apply, please contact us for specific details and pricing.
What is included in your services?
At Red Seal Dining, our goal is to make everything as effortless and delicious as possible for you and your important event. We are different from most caterers as we can work out of any venue regardless of their kitchen space limitations. Red Seal Dining is equipped with a BBQ trailer and over 50 years of professional experience which allows us to skip the boxes of preheated food, and instead deliver a live dinner service. We specialize in timely execution of fresh and local ingredients and ensure your event has everything it needs including: plate-ware, cutlery, service ware, Red Seal Certified chefs, service staff, and any necessary cooking equipment. Additionally, we offer a complimentary, personalized tasting in our prep kitchen. This allows us to discuss important details, customize your menu, and take the stress and worry out of your event planning.
We are also proud to offer AGLC certification (Class D license). We provide full drink services including: live bartending, servers, drink & wine pairings, liquor sourcing & purchasing, coffee/tea/non-alcoholic services, and live sales coordination. We supply all bartending tools needed for a typical event, as well as a bar consultation with Red Seal Dining’s Event Manager to ensure you have everything you need for a successful event including: support obtaining a AGLC liquor licence, alcohol quantity and drink recommendations, and glassware rental quantities and coordination. We are committed to ensuring your event goes as smoothly as possible.

Do you provide décor?
No, while we provide everything needed for food service including chefs and serving staff, plateware, silverware and serving dishes/boards, we do not supply any decor items. That being said, Red Seal Dining is happy to coordinate any rentals you may require as part of our consultation process.
Do I need rentals?
Red Seal Dining provides everything needed for food service at your event, including: chefs and service staff, plateware, silverware, serving dishes/boards, and any food equipment needed (for example, chafing dishes if the event is a buffet service). If your event requires anything additional to what we provide, we are happy to help coordinate any rentals needed as part of our consultation process.
Do you provide any additional services?
Red Seal Dining has years of experience providing exceptional culinary experiences and in the process has created unique and long lasting relationships with venues and vendors. If you require any additional services beyond food and beverage services, we are happy to help or provide recommendations to those who can.
